Bigger Prizes up for Grabs at BMC Saucony Grand Prix

Following on from the ‘best ever’ year in 2021 the BMC Grand Prix Series is back again in 2022 bigger and better than ever!

The series kicks-off at a new venue the university of Birmingham on May 14th

Recognition of the long-standing quality of the series has come from World  Athletics who have made the Watford fixture part of the World Series Tour.

To recognise the quality of the performance produced in 2021 we are pleased to announce a new top prize of £1500 and improved prizes for all levels
of performance. It means that a prize fund in each of the five meetings of between £16,000 and £22,000. The meeting prize money can be found at  GRAND PRIX PRIZES

As well as the prize fund for each meeting we will again be awarding series prize money with a top prize of £1000 for the top female and male
athletes. The scoring is based on performance in two out of the four grand prix meetings plus the final. The series prize money can be found here GRAND PRIX SERIES PRIZES

We are also retaining the Best of British £200 for winning performances that do not reach the level for a time related prize.
