Humans are designed to run. But, due to our more sedentary lifestyles and clompy, cushioned trainers, it is an art that we have increasingly lost touch with.

In this webinar you will learn about 5 of the key biomechanical principles that form the human blueprint for movement, with clear cues and drills to help embed an optimally efficient form. In doing so you will also dispel a number of potentially harmful myths.

Following on from that, you will hear about the strength and conditioning approaches of a number of top coaches and athletes including: Kelly Holmes, Wilson Kipketer, George Gandy and Claudio Beradelli (coach to multiple world and Olympic middle and long distance Kenyan athletes).

About your speaker:

Becky Lyne is a former professional middle distance runner, with BMC and Britain’s Female Athlete of the Year accolades to her name. Since retiring from athletics, she has set about using the knowledge and experience gained from her career, together with her First Class Honours in Sports and Exercise Science from Loughborough University, to help the next generation of athletes.

Visit her website www.gracefullrunning.com to learn more about her online running technique analyses and the Gracefull Girls performance and well-being programme she runs alongside fellow 800m retiree and Olympic medallist Marilyn Okoro.
