About your speaker:
Freya Davis is a PhD researcher exploring the interaction between sport injury and disordered eating in distance runners. As a previous distance runner (1500m-half marathon), she has endured a number of injuries and the many ups and downs that come with the sport which is what drives her research today.

Aside from research, she lectures at universities on the mental health of elite athletes, the psychology of sport injury, and more. Her research interests are within the psychology of sport injury, interdisciplinary research and practice, transitions in sport, and qualitative methods.
