BMC 3k Road Race 17th April

Another fantastic day at the Tameside Circuit where Kate Avery returned to record a solo 9.33 performance ahead of Alyssa Davey (10.11) and Shen Wigfield – Turner (10.14).

The excitement went up a notch in the final race of the day with Charlie Roberts edging Max White and Alex Miel – Ingram with a swift 8.26 clocking.

Once again our young athletes excelled with Toby Middleton recording 8.56 to win from James Vaughan (8.56). Freya Murdoch continues to improve this time recording 9.52.

Next stop Birmingham BMC April 21st. Our 1st GP is at Trafford May 8th where we are at over 300 entries.

Thank you to Active Tameside, East Cheshire Harriers, our officials and helpers well done to all the athletes and all those who helped out in the last two weeks.
