Sunday 24th August sees the return of a BMC event to Gateshead Stadium as part of the Tartan Games. The BMC , England Athletics and Run Through’s elite Top Flight brand are collaborating in the promotion of a series of mixed gender, graded and paced 800 metre races. There will be cash prizes on offer, weighted on an age graded basis and perhaps your last opportunity to run a pb this season.
Entries are led by star under 17 year old, Magnus Riddell from Tynedale Harriers. Magnus has swept the board this summer with victories in the English Schools 800metes, SIAB International Schools, Scottish Championships, lowering his PB by 5 seconds in the process to 1:50:78 at just sixteen.
All age groups and both sexes are welcome from Under 13 to Seniors and Masters.
