With evermore British athletes heading over to US on scholarships, it’s tempting to explore this option. But what is the reality? Is it true that you get over-trained and over-raced? What are the real costs, financially and personally? Are you more likely to get injured or RED-S? Or will it be the best decision you ever made?!
Whilst there are no black and white answers, former student-athletes Henry Johnson and Becky Lyne will share their lived experiences of both the American and British university systems, outlining current opportunities in both setups to help you make more informed decisions.
Resources to help mitigate potential pitfalls will also be shared.
Recordings are sent if you are unable to make it live.
