Frequently Asked QuestionsIf you’ve transferred my membership over from LoveAdmin, how do I log in for the first time?
If you already use OpenTrack, just log in (we’ve matched your BMC membership to your existing account). If you have not used OpenTrack before, sign up, and OpenTrack will match your new user account to the BMC member record.
Will my auto-renewal carry over?
No. If you had an auto-renewal set up on LoveAdmin this will cancel automatically. Going forward you will need to manually renew your membership annually. If you pay by Standing Order, please cancel this and set up an account on OpenTrack.
What are the current fees?
- Standard: £40 per year.
- Early Bird: £35 (if paid before April 1st).
(Note: If you join late in the year, your fee covers the following calendar year, but the £40 rate applies.) - New Member: £45 (includes vest)
- Overseas member: £50
I’ve moved age groups and don’t have the new standard yet. Am I still a member?
Yes. As long as your subscription is active, you remain a member. You do not need to “re-qualify” for membership, though you must still meet specific race entry standards for individual events.
What are the benefits of BMC membership?

2026/27 Qualification Standards for Age Group Changes
Following the introduction of new age groups on 1st April 2026, please note the following transition rules:
- 2026 Season: We will continue to use the previous odd-year age group standards.
This means for instance that a first year U18 would need to achieve the U17 standard and a second year U18 the U20 standard. - 2027 Season: We will move to even-year age group standards using ranking data for 2026 to set appropriated new qualification standards.
- New Event Standards
There are some events that are now open to age group athletes which were prohibited in the old age groups.- U18 5000m: Must meet BMC U20 standard.
- U16 1500m SC: Must meet BMC U17 standard.
- U18 2000m SC: Must meet BMC U20 standard.
- U18 5000m: Must meet BMC U20 standard.
Membership Details
Membership is limited to those athletes who have achieved the required qualifying times. Only times achieved from 1 Jan in the previous year in your current age group will count for membership qualification purposes. Membership is also available to any accredited coach. Associate membership is granted to those possessing special qualifications likely to benefit the club.
Road Times:
We accept 10K road times as qualification marks for the 10,000m standard.
We accept 5k road times as qualification marks for the 5000m standard if they are 10 seconds faster than the standard.
